Spring Gala 2014 Recap

The Board of Directors and field staff of Open Arms Worldwide would like to thank our sponsors and everyone who attended and worked to make the 2014 Spring Gala a success. On Thursday May 15^th we gathered at the Wolf Trap Center for Education in Northern VA for an evening of good food, good music, fellowship and inspiration.  In the process we were able to raise awareness and funds for the work of Open Arms both overseas and right here at home.

We would like to offer a special thank you to Lt. General Jerry Boykin who, due to a scheduling conflict, was not able to attend at the last moment, but connected us with author and journalist Chuck Holton as our guest speaker.  Our thanks go out to Chuck for sharing with us from his heart for children and the importance “training them up in the way that they should go.”
