News from the Field - December 2024

As we approach the close of another year, we reflect on the lives touched and the incredible progress we’ve made, thanks to supporters like you. At Open Arms Worldwide, our mission remains clear: to mobilize God’s people to bring hope to vulnerable children and youth at home and around the world. We do this so that every child can grow up understanding that they are beautiful and precious in God’s eyes and are enabled to discover the hope and future that He has for them.This holiday season, we invite you to be a difference maker for vulnerable children and their families in the name of Jesus.

A Year of Impact

In 2024, Open Arms Worldwide has reached new heights—delivering emergency aid and critical ministry to children and families caught in historic flooding in southern Brazil, offering life-changing education and sporting opportunities to children in need, renovating a children’s shelter and providing spiritual support to the children and staff, mobilizing our largest impact mission teams ever, expanding into Chile. From disaster relief in the wake of natural catastrophes to empowering children through the hope of the gospel, your generosity has helped us make a tangible difference in countless lives.

But there is still much more to be done.

A Call for Action

As the year draws to a close, we’re turning to our most loyal supporters to help us continue this vital work in 2025 and beyond. Your gift, no matter the size, can provide:

$40 to supply a month’s worth of fuel for our youth detention ministry teams.
$50 to provide a month’s worth of healthy snacks for one of our Neighborhood Kids Clubs.
$100 to fund 4 children in a Neighborhood Kids Club for a month.
$1,250 to fully fund a missionary family and an Open Arms neighborhood kids club (includes missionary support, food, game and craft materials, teaching materials) for one month.
